The Rovers fans will be more nervous NL. They will know that if we do win today Donny are already on holiday. They could have won 10-0 there on Tuesday chances they missed. I’ve got a feeling it might be champioooonay, champioooonay olay, olay, olay, day today.

Yes. Slightly more nerve tingling than it should have been.
I don’t get the animosity towards Rovers players saying they would love to win the title. Any player would. I would hope if we were sitting in 2nd that our players would be saying the same. Its also a touch of mind games to remind us that they are breathing down our necks.
As for winning the title, for me it is the only way to do it. Go up as champions and be the best.

Think we will win 3-0 today and Blackburn draw 1-1. Will celebrate tonight even though the trophy would technically have to wait until next Saturday.
Quite sad this morning that the home season finishes today, contrasting with last season when I couldn’t wait for it to be over….the highs and lows of following Latics through thick and thin!

Played crap for 60 mins. Had a stonewall penalty turned down, and just fell a little bit short. Gutted, after Charlton helping us out to by beating Blackburn.
Still,gained a point and it needs sealing next Sunday at Donny. I’m confident we will do it with the bumper following we will take. Should be a great atmosphere.
Our players looked very nervous today, first half especially.
The game’s on Saturday, DaveIs it? Good job you said, George. I really thought it was Sunday, the last day fixtures. Oh that’s not so bad anyway, better that kids not at school day after. Thanks.
