The highlight footage on Latics TV is pretty good this week.
Watching the aerial footage of the penalty incident, I don’t think Jason Kerr did anything wrong. Their mon went down on the floor right into the path of the oncoming Kerr, who in my opinion didn’t purposefully collide with him.
We never seem to get those decisions in our favour !

I disagree…..don’t think we can complain about it. No more than Swansea deserved. I wasn’t happy with his team selection but 2 set piece goals gave us a superb platform to go on and win.Alas the goal just before half time deflated me as I knew it would be 45 mins at the Alamo. We don’t ever look like creating anything in open play. Our hoofball bollocks is totally ineffective. We could have De Bruyne in the middle and we’d just launch over his head. How the f### can Shinnie ,arguably our best player so far be benched ? No pace or width again. Raves about Aasgaard but if he can’t get in a relegation side then he’ll fester on the bench. Scully ??? Only 1 man can answer why the hell he wasted money on the lad if he can’t even make the bench. Coventry next and can only see a draw at very best….they’ve beaten Blackburn and Watford in last week so obviously have some quality. The recruitment, stubborness with certain players continual selection. The ever changing, over analysing the opposition team selections and his commitment to 80’s Wimbledon “launch it” retro football means this is going to be a close to wire relegation fight for the next 6 months .The rumours of our owners trying to sell us,and an unusually quiet Tallal, a lack of investment are worrying. . Liam certainly doesn’t look like he will change so I think we are in real danger of relegation. Something really needs to change .

If it had been a Latics striker being brought down would it have been given? I think we all know the answer.

You’d have been pissed if we didn’t get it. I know we’ve had a few not given penalty calls and cancelled out goals but we can’t keep blaming officials……we create virtually nothing in open play. I haven’t a vendetta against Magennis but when he steps on the pitch it’s end of any goal threat completely. Liam really does need to have a good look at his never-ending swapathon and take a chance cos so far the results don’t look like improving anytime soon.

Well results improved at weekend. We went from 0 points to 1 point.

1 point out of last 18…..and we drop to 2nd bottom. Blew a 2 goal cushion. Beaten by bottom 8 rivals Stoke,Cardiff, Boro and Hull. Same turgid hump ball.Seismic improvement that was !!

Exactly. 0 points against sides at the bottom and then 1 point against a side in 9th. Clearly an improvement.

Not an improvement on early season form, but clearly one on current form.
