Got my lad this yesterday got 2 big plucks in already. The buyer at Wigan wants shooting as they have been turned over GOOD STYLE. And for that so have I after being charged 29.99.
my lad went on a bouncy castle with his new kit and it has plucked al across the back and side of the shirt…needless to say it will be going back to the shop…I hope they put the name and number back on! :evil:
Last seasons kit is by far the best home and away kit we have had…for a while anyway. I still have my Heinz shirt with the swerls on without any plucks!!
He wore the kit over the weekend and i took it back on Tuesday. On Saturday he had a jacket on with velcro on the zip, the velcro ripped the shirt to bits. I took it back to the ground and wanted to speak to somebody from marketing about the quality of the kit but got told that Vandershite are in charge of everything and i would have to speak to the people in the shop.
Went in their and they didnt have a problem giving me my money back but he wouldnt accept that the shirt was made poorly. He tried to tell me it was breathable material i told him that i had held velcro to the champion and umbro kits we have had and that not one had plucked i told him it was the company. He went on to virtually say that you should be careful wearing them so i took a shirt from the rail i showed him a pluck in it but he didnt really take me on. I told him that there would be loads of complaints about it only to be told that i was one of the first people to take it back. Whilst i as in their was a woman with 3 kids wearing the new home shirt and i could see at least one pluck in each shirt and one of the lads shorts looked like he had been having a stickybob fight.
Hopefully with Whelan’s track record we will be using a different company next year.

Every shirt I have seen so far, has ben plucked. Worst kit we have ever had, and the plain white back is all a ploy to get people to fork out on a name and number.
My little lad who is 3 is still wearing the Umbro home shirt, which I also have, and again, is unmarked. Lovely kit that. Should have lasted 2 seasons. It screamed ‘Premier League’ unlike this current one, which screams ‘Colchester United’. (No offence to them)
I am wearing the black away from the promotion season, and it is still like new.
Anyone who forked out £40 for that away shirt wants their head testing for a start. Awful shirt :oops:
