Personally i think D W needs to forget Barbados and holidays and start looking for fresh investment, He must have some good contacts out there, if BLACKBURN can attract people to invest then surely we can, Blackburn arn’t actually a well supported club, maybe with someone else on board, we wouldn’t have to keep selling our best players year in year out, the only thing that will bring the fans in is stability and of course results.
Its a good shout but if i was an investor, I would have to be very rich to invest in a club like ours. Every other club with the exception of Blackpool would be tempting to put money in but i could see no return in Wigan. 100% agree though in the fact that stability will bring in the crowds. Problem is, In this league with Mr Whelan, We will never achieve it.

no…they only get 10k more than us on in a town very similar to our town in regards to population

City average about double our crowds yet spend over 100million a year in the transfer market and have numerous player on over 100k a week. There’s no profit there surely?
People should trust Whelan to believe he has a sound business model for the club and more investment wouldnt make much difference to who and what we are, players would still want to move to big clubs, if we paid silly money then players would only come here for the same reason, cash and to move on.
