No flies on the wall with you men, I did make it myself. I’ll admit it, thought I’d try and catch someone out and as the same trick happens each Summer regarding kits.
In response to it being the SS08 template, I started from a blank white shirt and added parts from SS08,09 and 10, took small bits from several different shirt makes to get a finalised piece, would love that to be our new shirt as I purposely designed it to what a lot of fans say they want.

Excuse my ignorance, despite having belittled the whole process of virtual kit-making over the last 24 hours, I am intrigued what the “SS” means. Is this an integral part of the FM game?
Can we get back on track here and be told what the kit manufacturer is for definite, someone must know.

I quite frankly have no idea mate. No idea why they just can’t say Kit Templates [insert year], rather than the abbreviations which could mean anything.
No one knows what the kit manufacturer is for definite, I can imagine most people would want Nike or Puma though, they’re the best kit manufacturers.

Although i cant see why they would need to keep the manufacturer as a secret now.

Never heard of a team keeping a football kit for more than one season? It does happen.
Also, it was over two years because I couldn’t be bothered making new kits for some teams every single year.
Oh, and “SS” just stands for short sleeved, with ’08/’09/’10 obviously being the year the kit templates were made.

Thank you. JamesC would have insisted on you saying 2010/12 seasons to be totally correct but I know what you mean and will let it go as you have been very polite ;)

I’m not 100% on this but it’s likely to be Nike. DW Sports will have some involvement with the manufacturing of the gear and will continue to run the Club Shop next season. If we go down Nike “WILL NOT” have any involvement with Wigan Athletic, that’s certain.
