Whatever happened to a plain blue and white kit and if DW has sold how long is he going to keep getting shirt sponsorship. Will he be paying for the shirt sponsorship over a long period?
Never seen a plain blue and white kit me, Whelan is entitled to the shirt sponsorship free or not after what he’s done for the club for nearly 25 years!

I dont need to be told how much Mr Whelan has done for our club. I hold him in high reverance for that and have so much gratitude for that too.
Thing is we are, or have, or about to, move on in this takeover saga and would have thought a big sponsorship deal would be part of what would occur including both kit and stadium.
Eight years of World wide exposure in the premier league years for jjb and DW was a good pay back for some of the support he gave us.

Who has said the shirt sponsorship is free?
If for no other reason, advertising costs will be an allowable expenditure for tax purposes for DW Sports.I remember us years ago playing at seal and road against chester city.we played in green and yellow.but green in the home kit .my head wobbles.lol.
We had green in our home kit from 95 until 05. It can look good as a trim, but this just looks massively out of place.

Looks better on the clubs website when you see the images with greater clarity. Stripes for me every time though.
