So has this Alcaraz been given a visa. I was under the impression that players had to play a percentage of their Country’s Internationals in order to get one.

When he’s only got four i’m thinking that this doesn’t meet the stipulations. 70% or something I think.

Depends. He may have an EU passport (ie once drank a bottle of San Miguel, or has a Spanish mother or summat) which – I think – exempts them from a lot of the rules.

Disclaimer – what I’ve just said maybe total drivel.

Aye you could have something there. I’m thinking with Belgium being part of the EU, they must have same sort of rules concerning this type of thing. And the fella’s played a good amount of games for Brugges with no problems.

He’d also have to apply again for a visa when he moves clubs and there’s been no talk of this so far, so i reckon EU Passport it is.
