The new editor at the WEP is the wife of Paul Wilson, ex RL reporter for that paper, now currently writing for, I think, The Guardian and is poisonous in his views of Latics. If his wife shares the same views then watch out for all sorts of front page, anti-Latics drivel that they used to serve up years ago.

I have never bought it for years,it was shite when the wurriors were nearly famous, and it is still shite now,how much does it cost these days ?
I still get it and like to read about what’s happening in and around Wigan. It’s not just a sports rag.
However, in the Monday pull out sports section it had the number “1” against all the stats in the Saints v Latics match, total shots, shots on goal etc etc. Looks like once again the editor must have skipped past the sports pages when he knew the Latics had won. :ohmy:
