Well done but i think the irony of your comment about ‘bad spell’ and your deliberate spelling mistake was missed by all but the pedants on here.
It was a good result for a team with little skill but a whole lot of determination. I guarantee the Rooney’s of this world were missing the comfort of their clubs by Friday night had finished.
We all talk about th premierleague being the best in the world, the fast paced game etc, well we seem to have left that on the plane coming over. Wrong squad selections, i.e. Shaun Wright ‘I must hit every defender I try and beat’ Philips for one, wrong team selection, Joe Cole anybody???? Wrong formation, if Gerrard wont stay on the left then play someone else there…
We will be ok on Wednesday though by luck more than anything.
