I always think it would work in the clubs favour if they put 2 or 3 designs to a fans vote….obviously the most popular one will result in better sales figures, or so you would think.
I just hope we do away with red off the home kit. It just doesn’t look right at all. Blue and white, with maybe a touch of green trim.
And please, no more skin tight fit kits. They tend to not look so good on your average supporter, who tend not to be so Athletic!Could you maybe suggest this to the club, Jason? About having a vote from a couple of designs?
26 March 2017 at 8:33 pm #157281We’ve had red trim in the past and if memory serves me right didn’t the original tree and crown have red in it, I don’t the red trim at least the kit matches the seat colours.

26 March 2017 at 9:55 pm #157285We dont need another new strip? We’ve only had this one 10 months.
Each strip should be for at least two seasons, fans cant afford to keep buying shirts every year. Absolutely no need for it, most fans go with retro shirts these days, cant blame em.
Fuck the EFL

And no way should we have red on a home strip. I wouldn’t mind us having an away kit in the historical design of our original red and white half’s design, a retro design to acknowledge our history.
27 March 2017 at 1:45 pm #157291The latest set of kits (since Kappa took over) have largely been a collaboration of fans and management, via the meetings of those who attended the FAB sessions.
Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the skin tight bit as Kappa won’t budge on the styling.
One of the kit designs was without the stripes and it was voted down by about 80% to 20%, hence why we retained the stripes. That’s not to say it won’t be changed in the future.
I don’t get the anti-red stance, we started life off with red in the logo, and I think played in red for a while (sure George can back me or shoot me down on that).
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

Started off in red and white halves and wore red away in the early eighties I’ve no problem with red just prefer all white. If Kappa wont budge on sizes bin them when deal is up coz they cant sell too many at present.
