Apparently this is doing the rounds.

Whilst I have every sympathy with the sentiments and understand why people are/would sign, I personally won’t and would warn others to be very, very wary of the old saying about being careful what you wish for.

Yes, we’re p!ssed off at the way the club is being run (into the ground) but if Danson were to walk, we’re done. There is no way back this time; the club will close down within the month. There is no other buyer out there for us and certainly not in the timescale needed before the remaining funds run out.

I agree. He might not be ideal, but I don’t see a queue of eager buyers. If MD pulled the plug because of these social media dissenters then many thousands would lose out because of the actions of a few dozen who don’t even go to the games any more.

What else have Latics got ?

Not a fan of how he is running the club but at least he came in at the very lowest ebb the club has ever been in.

Latics were hours from oblivion and he stepped in and paid the millions needed to save the club and he didn’t need to do it !

It isn’t good but at least we have  a club to support  and he is all we have at the moment.
Better the devil you know and all that .
