I’m in the US and have just watched England put in another quality performance even the Yanks are laughing at us.

Perhaps if they were on a performance or win bonus it would actually look like they gave a shoite. Rooney went into the tournament with a glowing reputation but in 180 minutes he hasn’t even managed to control a ball. But it’s not just Rooney how the fuck does Lampard even get a game?

England are an absolute disgrace and if we can’t qualify from this group they shouldn’t be allowed back in the country

They are on a win bonus ……..about £500,000 a man to win the whole thing.

I think some football players who play for England now are now comparable to mp’s with there take take take mentality but are not prepared to give to the average man who pays thousands to follow the national team. remember were you came from mr rooney? pull your head out of your arse you have been below average so far what do you expect?

That’ll be money well saved then, the FA can put it towards paying off the Wembley bill.

      Shamble’s the whole set up.

It’s got rag all to do with money. Rooney and the rest would play for England for nowt. Fans have a right to boo if they want to and for the best part it’s out of pure frustration. The players should also have a right to respond. Do you really think they went out there and made a conscious decision to play badly? I’m glad Rooney said what he said. It shows he cares, not that you should need convincing about that anyway. Blame the manager, blame the ball, and especially blame the press who brainwash people into believing England can win the World Cup, when in reality we are just a very ordinary team with very ordinary players. Get used to it. Get behind the team for the next match and hope Capello and the players get it right this time. If we win, everything is fine for a while. We get to watch another game and fly our little flag and go the pub and get bladdered and talk bollux to the next bloke and boo again when we lose.
        That’s football.

Yes, we are an average team. Lampard and Gerrard in particular have bottled it many times already for England when it matters so I didn’t expect much difference this time, but last night was a new low. For me in the next game I’d go 4-4-2, drop Rooney, Lampard and Heskey and bring in Crouch, Defoe and Joe Cole. The likes of Lampard and Rooney need to see that if they don’t perform, they’re out, and Capello should be the man to do that.

But that generation hasn’t been pushed enough by the following one, for whatever reason – Premiership cash, foreign managers etc. Try and name an England back four from outside this squad aged 24 and under….Half of Germany’s squad is aged 23 and under. Have a look round the top 7 clubs for how many English players Capello has to choose from.

We’ve got virtually no strength in depth and the top players aren’t up to it.

Sammy don’t talk shoite!!!!!! We have played the US and Algeria there are no excuses we should beat these teams no matter how you dress it up.

Something needs to change in our Country as the national team is turning into a joke although I’m finding it hard to laugh it’s more embarrassing

I would drop Rooney….What ? I hear you say ! Yeah why not he has had a bad run up to World cup and a worse actual World cup ! There is too much of a weight on his shoulders and the pressure is starting to show ! I also think they are scared of the manager and his methodical almost droid like way of running things. A draw on Wed and home James is my prediction. I will be in Tunisia watching the big game Germany v Ghana with my sun lounger pinching comrades ! :o

They can afford to miss out on a few weeks wages…………

If it wasn’t for the fan and press reaction I’m quite sure a number of them wouldn’t even turn out for England.

I don’t believe anyone seriously believes we have a chance of winning the World Cup but we do expect the players to make the most of their ability.

I do agree with much of what you say but I believe key additions like Joe Hart, Adam Johnson, Michael Dawson, Joe Cole and Phil Jagielka could add quality, desire and balance to the team.

Whatever happens after this world cup it’s obvious whole changes to the squad have to be made for years managers have tried the Lampard and Gerrard combination as both are approachint their thirties they need to be left out after this shambles .

Bring in fresh blood like the Germans have average age 24 for the tournament and they will gain experience through the tournaments that they have to qualifie for time for change in the whole England set up in my opinion

Money not Medals is all Premiership player’s main concern!.
                        Unfortunately that’s the truth.
