I see that Owen Coyle has been spouting that we’ll have to pay big for Al Habsi. How much is ‘paying big’ for them £50?

How much do we reckon we will offer, around £2million?

      He’d probably be worth hit.

We have already paid them £1M to loan him, so any more than a further 2 or £3M should be more than enough.

          Classic deflection..

I rather think that Coyle hopes that by securing a lucrative deal for Ali it will save his (already) flagging managerial career.

He’s for the chop….and we should call his bluff.

We’ve been saying the same for season after season about players that ultimately we let go for less than we touted. We’re not fooled, Owen.

You were rubbish at Burnley. You’re rubbish at Bolton.

Your Chairman will decide what he’ll accept – and any reasonable offer while you keep Jaaske…. can’t spell it will be accepted. You, Owen, have no say whatever in the matter.

Just to start I don’t think he was rubbish at Burnley, he did really well for them.

Everything else I agree, he is trying to please the crowd, but if the chairman accepts, he accepts.. end of!! plus if they do have Jaaskeleinen (definate spell check needed) It isn’t as important, a decent fee from a premier league club for a 2nd string keeper must seem like good business, especially to their chairman. They have money and the best keeper! (Al habsi is good but Jaaskelinen* is one of the better keepers in the prem)
