For anyone going there on saturday and giving it the big time charlie aproach,just remember where we have come from to where we are now.

More recently I did some work with Wigan’s commercial team around 2 years ago when they were trying to get their supporters database up and running. Really good and genuine people to deal with and who’ve worked hard to get their attendances up to where they are now under very challenging conditions.

Almost restores your faith in football.
It’s good to know that ” genuine ” football fans like those lads actually acknowledge just what we have achieved in recent years AND also understand & realise that our crowds will never , ever compare to those of the big Prem clubs.
To be honest as long as the real football fans like those guys acknowledge that , I couldn’t care less that the Sky fans ( who probably never see a live game ) , the jealous big club fans ( who can’t accept that we are 1 or even 2 leagues above them ) or the ignorant journoes, simply don’t get it .
