What crowd do you think there will be?
£15 again. I’m thinking “sod that”.
I reckon another 5,000…..if not even less.
Club is not opening South stand, so they are thinking it will be a small crowd. And they are selling tickets in advance. i can’t be bothered going down for one.*
*but if we DID manage to get to a semi-final, or final….I’d be queuing from 6.30am, LOL! (How annoying is that? Ha Ha!!!)
25 January 2010 at 12:16 am #19522That “I think he’s a chubster really” can be a tricky opponent on their day can’t they?
25 January 2010 at 12:25 am #19525Around 8,000. County should bring a decent following.
25 January 2010 at 12:45 am #19528£15 for adults and £5 for kids is the cheapest the club are allowed to sell tickets for. It would be worth every penny if the game is half as good as the last one.
I’ll go for 5,000 Wigan fans and about 500 County fans on for the replay.
I also predict we would get 20,000 more Wigan fans turning up at Wembley should we get there.25 January 2010 at 1:57 am #19537£15 for adults and £5 for kids is the cheapest the club are allowed to sell tickets for. Think you’re spot on, actually. 5,500.
25 January 2010 at 2:04 am #19540Is that only for home fans? villa charged brighton fans £10 and £5 for kids!
25 January 2010 at 3:10 am #19547You’re a true Latics fan from years back, with a soft spot for Everton.
From time to time you have been known to wind people up about your allegience though.9675 on for the replay.
25 January 2010 at 3:49 am #19548Truth be told, I wouldn’t say I’ve a soft spot for Everton. I prefer them to Liverpool.
I had Everton kit as a kid, because Lineker was my favourite. Later it was Gazza…..and I had Spurs kit.
My best mate is an Everton fan, so I’ve been the odd game with him. About 5 or 6 times, I think. Hardly someone with a great interest. Never felt like it’s ‘my team’ or anything. No emotion, or anything.
Despite much ribbing at school over “why do you support Wigan, they’re sh*t!” I stuck with it. Never thought of joining the scouse bandwagon.True latics fan? Yes, definitely.
Think you’re being very optimistic over the crowd V Notts County, though.
25 January 2010 at 4:01 pm #19606Thats me, eternal optimist. Its better than all the eternal pessimists that frequent this site.
There have been times in my long and illustrious carreer of following the Latics (superfan) when being optimistic has been hard, but I always bounce back and look on the bright side. -
