Pretending that Cleverley is fit, what would be your prefered starting line-up?
If I was Bob I would go with the following in his traditional – 3-5-1
Ali
Boyce (r/b)
Figgy (l/b) – only because we have no one else
Lopez (c/b)
Alcaraz (c/b)
McCarthy (c/m)
Cleverley (c/m)
Di Santo (behind striker)
Zoggy (as Dave calls him) r/m
Moses (l/m)
Rodders (c/F)Or in a 4-4-2:

I would have the 1st team but both jimmy macs in and de santo on bench, macarthur sitting in front of back 4 while cleverly and mcarthy help attack.
If we must insist on playing 451, 4231, 41321 or whatever it is then i would play

If he starts with Thomas and Diame tonight then I think we’re doomed. He needs to drop one or both and play McArthur.
I would have McArthur, McCarthy and Watson as our midfield three :thumbup:
surprised you said watson as I think hes been shocking this season. then again thomas and diame have also been awful recently. sack off 3 CM and play 2 CM of both jimmys i say but what do i know?
It really annoyed me that mccarthur hasn’t had a better run out until recently, he was brilliant away at wolves and then im sure he was dropped again when that zombie hendry thomas game back

RodallegaVery attacking team 3 behind Hugo will create chances and have a few goals in them aswell. However, I do think tonight Diame will play in place of Cleverley and maybe Stam instead of Moses unfortunately.
I’d like us to play the two Macs in the middle of the park, but it is never going to happen so Watson is the better option until Cleverley comes back :clap:
true i suppose, id pretty much go with what tini said for our attack. However, i think kirkland should be considered for the left back position, figueroa is dreadful
Figueroa is dreadful at defending as he gets caught out too much and I think he could be in for a difficult night against Vela tonight. However there were signs of life with him going forward against Villa.
I’ve got a feeling that Di Santo might break his duck tonight :wtf:
I really like di santo just a shame he cant score, he does everything else really well. just a shame a STRIKERS main job description is to score goals
:lol: :lol: :lol:Tonight I want to see us just have a go at them and put in some effort. I believe we are better going forward than defending (although I know we are the lowest scorers in the league.) I think if we have a go at these men with Moses N’Zogbia and Hugo I think they will roll over! Can’t wait get there really is a huge game!
cant afford to go tonight but its on sky sports so im gunna get in the pub early. I just want to see us put up a bit of fight, we have been lacking that in almost all of January.
