If Moses goes would it not. Be a bad idea to try and Get Nzogbia back, we have got rid of Kirkland who was one of the highest paid players and Rodds also. I have heard he is not wanted at Villa.
He would probably start every game instead of being on the bench, I know money is the main reason about moving but a lot of players also like to be on the the the field????? Just a thought…..
24 June 2012 at 1:17 pm #89587Don’t think bringing any old players back would be a good move
24 June 2012 at 4:00 pm #89594Sorry but the kermit thought he was bigger than the club, well I wouldnt touch him again with a barge pole.Good player but not as good as he or his agent reckons.Fair play to Moses he hasnt consistently stated he wanted to better himself and intends to leave at the first opportunity. When Victor moves on we will carry on what we have been doing since 2005 and bring in a replacement if he is the right guy.

He’s done exactly what Charlie did, he was quoted last season that he wouldn’t sign a new deal with us and wanted away.

If you believe what the papers say, apparently his new contract takes him from £10k to £20k per week (i.e. Moses). 3 year deal.
IF he did re-sign, then arguably we’d get more for him in 12 months time (2 years remaining on revised contract)ASSUMING he continues to develop; it would also give him the opportunity to get another 12m Premier League experience under his belt(avoidance of NZogbia /Villa scenario), develop further under RM guidance and earn a bigger PAY packet. Win Win ??
His cash-hungry /get rich quick agent doesn’t appear to see it thus….

But Victor’s a big boy he can tell his agent NO he does not want a move is happy with us and wants a new improved deal. Like fook he will he’s as greedy as his leach of an agent
24 June 2012 at 5:58 pm #89600Firstly, I’m not so sure Lambert would be so quick to let a player with so much potential go and I’m not sure Nzogbia would go either the money he’s on and the possibility he has to become a major influence in a more attacking Villa side.
Having said that I’d take him back. I was very dubious about him when his first move fell through, but he knuckled down rather than spitting his dummy out, had a great season, kept us up and earned his move.
Can’t ever see him coming back though.

Hinders, when has Victor ever said he was going? Chelsea have reportedly made an offer so of course he is now willing to review his career. With Zog it was every transfer window first Brum then Mackams etc till he wound up at Villa. How can you say Moses has done exactly the same?

He said last season he would not be signing a new deal and would be looking to move in the Summer. Long before Chelski came sniffing.

Every player has ambitions to better themselves nobody can blame them and with Victor he has seen his contract thru with no constant mentions of leaving. No player in todays game will stay loyal if he is offered a massive pay rise and he knows this so he has done his bit and is now looking for a reward for his efforts.Zog went because of his ego he was always too good for Wigan Athletic Scharner was another I just dont see how you can put Zog and Victor in the same camp.

The only reason Victor has not made any noise about moving before now is that up to this season the bugger never played. He would have struggled to get a move anywhere when he couldn’t even get in the team.
