I see the News of the World is going with N’Zogbia to Birmingham City as their main Latics rumour, can’t remember what number we’re up to at the moment (sorry griff) is it #1489???

it does seem to be a bit strange that charles seems to be red hot at the moment and without doubt our best player just as the window is about to open.i wonder…. :o
NZogbias move to us was make or break for him. If he performs to his potential/ability, as he seems to have been doing recently he’ll be going to a much bigger team than Birmingham (e.g he’s a better winger than anyone Liverpool have got at the moment). If he doesn’t, why would he want to go to Birmingham from us anyway? It’d be another Ellington move to West Brom.
Still, I thought we’d got a great deal at the time swapping him for Taylor, and its looking that way now.

You’re right – I remember there being a fee involved, but thought it was nominal. £6m + Taylor does seem a bit more pricey, but he’s probably starting to justify that now. Chance of him leaving in Jan, but surely not to Birmingham
