I can’t see too much wrong with Charlie’s comments. The journo will have asked him loads of stuff and then just picked out a few bits that make it look as though he’s desperate to get away.
After all, “I’m happy to stay at a club in a relegation scrap each year and I have no further ambition” isn’t much of a story is it?
All he’s said is that he wants to progress and earn a chance at a big club. He’s even called us a medium sized club, which seems generous to me.
As for his team mates feeling disrespected, they’re all after a bigger move. They play football for money, not out of loyalty to our club. Don’t think any of them will care.
If our fans decide to get on his back for this then we have even bigger muppets following us than I’d first suspected.

i seem to remember the spanish one in the last 20 mins of the game v fulham taking edman off who had done nothing wrong and putting nzogbia,who was ripping their left full back to bits,into the left back spot while bringing that waste of space sinclair on, after that we totally stopped playing –
his reasoning in the post match interviews was “i was pushing for a win” :? i seem to think he played him there a couple of games after as well,despite the fact he is probably our only attacking threat of any pedigree.so standish are you saying for once your hero is wrong for playing him at left back then like newcastle did ? i thought in your eyes he does no wrong .

One of the things about zog being on the right all the time is everybody knows he will come inside and they double up on him,after he hit the post on wednesday bolton had 3 on him when he got the ball and he had his quietest game this season,
do you not think if we went 4-4-2 now and again, switched both zogs and rodellegas wings and let them get a few crosses in, perhaps both they and the whole team would benefit from being able to get scotland and a.n. other into proper striker positions, even if it is just for short periods in home games,this may even improve on us having the 2nd worse home goal scoring record in the league – i also believe that scotland would score plenty goals as well if that happened.
it may also cutail the boos that are concerning you.

Caleb Folan came from League 1 though and was a panic buy by Jewell, Not the greatest player but always wore his heart on his sleeve, Very passionate and would swap him for Scotland any day.
