Promısed myself no papers and no ınternet for a fortneet but lasted just 4 days. :roll:
I,m sat ın thıs seedy ınternet cafe surrounded by Turkısh hoodıes all peerıng over my shoulder as I type.

What a journey!I,m ın Icmeler. The next resort Marmarıs ıs Blackpool whılst Icmeler ıs more Southport, but not fılled wıth scousers. :o

Me and Zoggysleftpeg went Marmaris earlier in year JR … Nipped to Icmeler too …. Marmaris is far better… :D
For the holiday you probably want, then marmaris may be better, lots of scruffy gangs of youths staying in grotty hotels, the place is a shi_thole.
We got picked up from the hotel last night at 11:15pm, picked up 4 or 5 couples at various plush hotels in Icmeler who all crept on the coach and sat quietly. Went on to Marmaris were we picked up gangs of kids all effing and jeffing, half pished up and leaving what looked like concentration camps. Says it all really. :roll:Your definition of “better” with respect to holidays abroad, is far removed from my definition of that word.

What a journey!I enjoyed Turkey, but more for the hotel I was at.
The hotel was the 5* Delphin Palace, just outside of Antalya. Brilliant hotel, really couldn’t fault it. All inclusive was pretty good, and facilities on offer were very good.
But as a place, I thought Turkey was a bit of a dump, in all honesty. Not sure I’d bother going back.

Hmmm ‘crept on the coach and sat quietly’? Trying to oversell it a bit there pal. Mine and Zoggys Hotel was quality in Marmaris and the ‘gangs’ we picked up werent even ‘effing and jeffing’.. Maybe singing bu thats it. Its much better than Icemeler and Icemeler was dead when we went during the day.. We were only ones on the beach there!
Why dont you go on a sunbed and stay at home.. just as lively as Icemeler.
