Coach leaves at 3:30 – anyone from Garswood (preferably) or Ashton area who would like to share a cab to the DW?
I know it’s not far, but it’ll save the missus having to be up at that time to give me a lift in (and hence giving me earache) :)16 September 2013 at 10:45 pm #121086Why the change of time, I thought it was leaving at 1.00 a.m.?
16 September 2013 at 10:53 pm #121087No idea Ron – I e-mailed them the other day, and then got a letter in the post this morning.
1am means someone could probably have dropped me off easy enough around midnight – 3 is definitely more anti-social :(
16 September 2013 at 11:13 pm #121090George are you going via the tunnel or ferry?
16 September 2013 at 11:20 pm #121091Ferry apparently
16 September 2013 at 11:55 pm #121092George you ain’t going to have much time to sample the delights of Bruge :(
We are leaving around 12.30-1.00 a.m. I think we are booked on the 8.00 a.m. ferry to Dunkirk, 2 hours, then 1 hour to Bruge.17 September 2013 at 1:16 am #121095George you ain’t going to have much time to sample the delights of Bruge :(
We are leaving around 12.30-1.00 a.m. I think we are booked on the 8.00 a.m. ferry to Dunkirk, 2 hours, then 1 hour to Bruge.Bronx, all our coach’s are arriving in Wigan for about 12:30am and hope to be away half an hour later about 1:00am.
Coaches A,D & E are on the 07:30am DFDS Dover-Calais ferry, they arrive in Calais 10:00am local time with about a 1.5 hour run to Bruges, ETA 11:30 am-12:00 noon.
Coach B(the one you are on) is the 08:00am Dover-Dunkirk sailing, arriving in Dunkirk at about 11:00am, it is about an hours drive from Dunkirk to Bruges. ETA 12:00 – 13:00 pm.
All these Coaches are booked on the 23:59pm Dunkirk – Dover ferry for the return journey arriving in Dover 01:00 am UK time.
The fifth coach – C is on the 07:50 am Euro-tunnel service arriving in Calais at 09:30am local time, this coach will probably then stop for a one hour refreshment break in Calais before reaching Bruges at about 12:00 noon again. It will return on the 23:50 service arriving back in the UK at 23:25 pm.
All our coaches are crossing at these times so the drivers can fulfil there obligatory 9 hours off in between journeys to meet tachograph rules, allowing us to leave straight after the game and be home at a reasonable time.
17 September 2013 at 2:42 pm #121110So gutted I can’t get time off work.
Really looking forward to going to Maribor when we hopefully qualify but it looks like this is the big one following wise. :(

18 September 2013 at 6:45 pm #121167No – I’ve just had a phone call from them, a couple of e-mails, and a letter on Monday.
Coaches arrive at stadium at 2:45, boarding from 3:00, leaving at 3:30, unless full beforehand so can leave early.
18 September 2013 at 7:04 pm #121168Sounds like they want people there to set off early. I will be on it.
I had so much going on in my 2:30-3:00am slot, so might be late :)
18 September 2013 at 8:19 pm #121175Have you got your lift sorted?
