Do you remember these players, who used to give us a bit of a hard time in the lower leagues? These are from my time as a fan. Others will differ, I know. Some right ‘blasts from the past’ here. Some feature for more than one club.

Some more of the top of my head who made a nuisance of themselves against us: Tommy Tynan (Plymouth), Eric Gates (Sunderland), Keith Waugh (Sheff Utd), George Oghani (Bolton), Craig Madden (Bury). And Forbes Philipson Masters. Who did he play for, then?

Always hated playing against Kavanagh until he came to us and realised he was poor.

Think Trevor Senior (Reading) used to score against us quite regularly. Mark Kendall, Newport County keeper usually had a blinder against us (or at least it seemed that way) and didn’t Clive Walker ALWAYS take the proverbial against us?

The same Graham Kavanagh that helped us get promoted to the premier league? the same one that got us to our first major cup final with arguably one of the best teams we have ever had? That Graham Kavanagh?

Poor is not a word i would use to describe him or anyone associated with the 2005/06 squad.

                      Emerson Thome?

(only dodgy one I can think of mind)
