I thought Young scored the goal? Still, I’m not going to argue with you – I can’t remember what I was doing yesterday

I have the clip on a video and was looking to transfer it to computer as a look how far we have come sort of thing with the final, but haven’t got round to it yet.
edit
Simmpool I have 2 lasting memories of that game
1) It was the first time I had seen a real skinhead
2) Manchester City(Neil Young in particular) peppering our goal with shots, we certainly didn’t batter them, although Corrigan made a world class save in front of us from a Geoff Davies header.
11 June 2013 at 1:53 am #115797That’s fine, I just needed to know that he actually played in the game to satisfy the rules (my own) of a blog I am writing.
Cheers

11 June 2013 at 2:04 am #115802I stand corrected sorry lads for the bad info but I was their
11 June 2013 at 2:12 am #115803I know it’s over 40 years ago but I don’t remember City (Neil Young in particular) peppering our goal with shots. They hit the bar in the first half with a looping shot/header but I don’t remember Reeves making a huge number of saves.
In addition to the header, Geoff Davies had a shot that struck Corrigan’s legs as he dived the wrong way.
11 June 2013 at 2:32 am #115805As anyone got the motd highlights of the game now that would be quality I think it was graham oates who’s shot hit corrrigans studs he also made a top save from jim fleming.
11 June 2013 at 2:40 am #115806At the end of the match Neil Young was still searching for the heart of the goal.
11 June 2013 at 2:48 am #115808He looked out of shape though. By the end he was blowing like a hurricane.
