..looks like the lad has made a good impression during his second half sub appearance.

He sounds like everything we’ve been missing as well, who knew?

Can see why Cook let him go. Doesn’t sound like his type of player.

Cook and Royle see’s it one way the vast majority of Latics fans who sit and watch it week in week out see it another,

Cook reminds me of the movie “Shallow Hal”

Have we sold him? I thought he’d gone on loan to a club in a league equivalent to League Two after signing a new deal.

He can only play against the players put in front of him. Unfortunately our clown of a management team didn’t want to risk him, even though the ones they select every week are losing nearly every game. Worst that could have happened is we continue to lose, but at least we would have an excuse that the lad is not ready. Cook has run out of excuses for the lads he selects every week.

When I mention how good Sam Cosgrove is doing at Aberdeen most on here reckon its only Scottish football so it’s easy. That being the case what good is it to WAFC letting a bright prospect play in the lower leagues in Scotland
How is it good for the lads progress. This lot running our club are feckin halfwits.

Agree, and for the record quite a few clubs in England sniffing round him. Like I said you don’t try, you never know. We seem too impatient with the young players yet stick by others week in week out despite them being shyte.

Alan Hansen said you dont win anything with kids but the league table proves you dont win any games with the likes of Robert’s Pilkington and fox.

When these lot took over (and whoever they are now) the operative was youth. They made it loud and clear that they wanted a good youth system bringing players through rather than bankroll us.

Now we have 4-5 prospects either on loan or in the youth setup only one makes the first team and then is hardly used.
Dowell and William’s are not much older than one or two of these lads so I just dont get it.
I’m not advocating 1st on the team sheet but they should be in and amongst the first team training and step up from the u23’s.
Cook has always made it known he prefers experience experiance experience.

So far a fair few of the senior players are either out of form or knackered but Cook will carry on regardless.

Now theres talk of Jordan Rhodes. 500k on loan ? have we gone fcukin barking mad ??? Use that money and get a fcukin defender in. We’ve got lad here in Moore who needs get his finger out his arse and start putting chances away.

Naismith isn’t a centre half. We’d be safe now if we had of hung on to leads so Cook sort the defence out first hey.

What is it now ? 2 a game ?. As it stands we need to score 3 to get 3 pts something that’s rarer than Do Do sh1t with us.

Wouldn’t it be better getting it right at the back then we’d only have to score 1 for all 3 ?.
Bringing Jordan Rhodes is all well and fine but someone better tell Rhodes that if we carry on the way we are conceding he’s gonna have to hit at least a dozen hat tricks between now and the end of the season.
    Easy enough,

Lad seems like he’s scored in almost every game in 23s. Why play him when our forwards are rattling em in!

Why play a young enthusiastic ambitious player when Robert’s etc can take us forward.
    I fear the worst.

    Meanwhile….

Nick Chadwick’s under strength team wins their 6th game in a row.

Maybe, just maybe there could be something in this? Maybe with Chadwick running the 1st team and Cook as “Director of Football” , or in some executive capacity, we could move forward without people losing face?

The change and energy that comes with it might just give us some hope for this season and next.

Now with all namby pamby positive shite out of the way lets get back to what we do well and lose again without scoring!

Stoke reputed to be considering a £2M bid for Cosgrove
