And its not Caldwell (i thought he’s been back to his best of late) its Uwe ,to many games this season he’s made his changes and mucked it up and once again he’s come up trumps ,he’s a young manager and learning his trade but time after time hes made the wrong changes ,i can’t wait for next season and if he keeps going with his squad rotation (which he will going of what i’m hearing) hes of my Christmas card list( i bet hes not happy about that ) . :(
13 May 2014 at 3:02 am #130973I thought his team was bobbins tonight but till McArthur went off it was working a treat.
Once he went off I hired we lost control of the middle of the park & started to go long bit had none up front even remotely capable of wining or holding up the ball up frontEDIT:’ that should say “once he went off I thought we lost control” !!!!
13 May 2014 at 3:05 am #130976Yep he’s shite mr grumpy.

Had Coyle still been in charge we would have been fighting relegation, not the play offs.
The players are knackered. Without rotation some of them wouldn’t even be standing let alone running.
13 May 2014 at 3:08 am #130978I used to do 12 hr. Shifts.
I was still standing at the end of the week.

Yep :)
13 May 2014 at 3:14 am #130981Starting McLean at CF, knackering him out and then continuing to play him there after Waghorn came on for Callum, rather than switching them, stumped me.
Think Uwe has shown a fair bit of naievity of late – let’s hope a full summer does the trick.

Yes.
At least DW told Coyle to get his croat before he took us down
13 May 2014 at 11:50 am #130994I would like to know were macca was ?, I couldn’t make it to the game last night but from my armchair all’s I could see was McClean sprinting left to right pulling his plumbs out for the cause while macca was doing his David Copperfield impression.
At one point I had to ask my lad if he’d been subbed. His fitness levels are nil, he was grade one Shiite , was like playing with 10 men.

13 May 2014 at 12:33 pm #131005Blame whelan for appointing coyle in the first place & putting us where we where up until december. Cheaper option isn’t always the best one.
Still uwe has a summer now to bring in who he wants, style of play etc…& lets try to get up automatically. Play-offs have never really been kind to latics.13 May 2014 at 1:57 pm #131019Rosler has a summer and next season to stamp his own brand of football at Wigan and for me, will be judged on the next 12 months.
I wonder if he pinches anyone from Brentford, that’s if there’s anyone good enough from there to nick , normally managers hijack one or two players from their old clubs. And I’ve a feeling Whelan will cut the wages bill once again as we’ve no stars that will fetch big money and parachute payments lessen.
