Yes it was an excellent game, YES all the team played well, but will they be able to replicate this performance for the next eight games.
Then consider the Question WHY Cook allowed the team, individual players, to play so badly for so long. I welcome it as most supporters
Must. But never forget, who can, the awful football played for too long leaving us fearing relegation. The imminent 12 points reduction on Birmingham City places them at 19th and we at 18th. Cook must motivate his players as he did for yesterday’s
Game to ensure we arrive in the middle of the table.one swallow does not a summer make!

Enjoy the win, & hopefully it will be a kick-start to our survival.
17 March 2019 at 10:02 pm #177408We weren’t looking for a summer, just trying to get through a bad winter.

How can I Fly Like an Eagle, when I’m Surrounded by Turkeys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18 March 2019 at 12:11 am #177412I get where your coming from soprano and as good as it was yesterday far far from perfect, but with Powell, Massey and Jacobs all playing again it is a bit like getting the old band back together again, which is what Cookies was saying when they were injured. This newcomer Garners looking a bit good too, when did we sign him?
18 March 2019 at 12:14 am #177413Brilliant lostock but thats a bit harsh on Clarkie isn’t it???

7 goals is not a bad return especially when you compare it to Will Griggs 6 goals in 28.
Most of Will Griggs 28 matches have been starts and nine of them have been at a lower level in League One.He has scored another 2 goals this season in the three other matches he has played (1 in 2 matches for NI an one in the JPT for his new club against Bristl Rovers.
Please don’t take this as a dig at Will Grigg as I would have kept him and played him unlike PC.
18 March 2019 at 12:44 am #177417I’ve been calling Garner not fit to burn, bag of…., and other stuff all season but now he’s got the bit between his teeth, shows what a bit of confidence can do.
I’d love Clarkie to prove me wrong too despite my comments about him elsewhere.19 March 2019 at 12:35 am #177437It doesn’t I agree but it doesn’t half feel good today knowing we absolutely destroyed our nearest rival.
Could have easily been 6 or 7 goals and if the team can’t take the positives out of that and build from that then very few of them should be playing professional football.
Four games at home and four away left and three of them against possible ‘ thoughts of the beach ‘ teams ‘.
The other five are against teams pushing for promotion
Or the play offs so bound to be some nerves amongst them(Nob end on Easter Monday would be nice to win and complete the treble at home against the derby rivals).
The home form is the key however surely but surely the away jinx is about to end somewhere and what better place to do it than at a jittery Elland road on good Friday.
Another seven points should absolutely nail safety and it seems a lot easier to achieve on the back
Of that inspiring victory !19 March 2019 at 12:01 pm #177441Attack attack attack is what we’re good at, we started the season that way and let’s finish it that way.
#finallysoberfromsaturday.19 March 2019 at 11:52 pm #177464This week kind of reminds me of a glorious 5-2 win away to the nobbers that sent them down to the old forth division. Fans crying at the end made it even better. That was from a young Latics team earlier bereft of confidence, particularly after a bizarre 3-3 draw with Cambridge (with the 1 brave away fan).
Whatever happened to that team? -
