1) Simply drop Marshall & play Jones in goal. He for one is a very good commander of his defence. And I for one actually preferred him to Walton if I’m being honest.

He seems to have lost the confidence of the players, he has certainly lost the confidence of (most of) the fans, he even seems to have lost confidence in himself.
I am equally sure he has lost the confidence of the Board (why should they be different, except that they actually have money resting on success), and it’s only really a matter of time while they sort out a replacement.
After Barnsley they have two weeks because of the international break – a gap to give them the opportunity to bed someone new in.
Only an absolute storming win against Barnsley could even give him hope.26 August 2019 at 4:38 pm #180712Well that is what happened last season with bacon saving wins coming at the right time like the Blackburn and Villa wins.

I think once Cook announced he’s dumbfounded as to why their playing like the are that for me is basically throwing in the towel.
Would a new manager with different ideas be able to improve our form ?, that is the big question or are the players simply not good enough for the Championship ?26 August 2019 at 7:37 pm #180714I think the squad is quite good, whilst watching the QPR game was struggling to find one of their players that I’d swap with one of ours.
With a decent coach I think this squad could make the play offs. Don’t particularly like the guy, but his teams always look well coached and balanced. Ladies and gentlemen I give you…. The Brolly Man!From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!26 August 2019 at 7:51 pm #180715The Brolly Man!When we had the option a few seasons back of Coyle or McClaren, I know which one I would have preferred. And I firmly believe that if Whelan had have chosen the dearer option & met McClaren’s demands, we wouldnt have been celebrating back to back league 1 titles.
26 August 2019 at 9:50 pm #180719As if we will go for a high profile manager. We are no longer in that zone anyway there is still no smoke without fire tho I’m desperately hoping this time there is.
Tell you what tho guys this must be the first time that most fans agree that the manager isn’t up for the job and must go. Normally its evenly split with much bickering.

27 August 2019 at 1:52 am #180729We should have been 3-4 up after 20 mins they were all over the place. Our goal was a tap in from 2 yards out unmarked from a corner.
