22 February 2011 at 12:15 pm #60222this thread started about leyton orient, who’s players ran, chased and gave everything they could in earning a replay, they dont deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as the overpaid gutless journey men on show against bolton on wednesday.
It was Orient’s first team that are in good form compared to Wigan’s reserves/squad players who don’t play together much and aren’t good enough for the first team that played against Bolton though.I think the players Wigan had out wanted to beat Bolton but were not in the same class as the visitors as the decision had been made by Dave Whelan that the FA Cup didn’t matter.
As news filtered through of the side Wigan had picked and Bolton’s comfortable victory my mind turned to the old time Wiganers and what they would make of their club throwing an FA Cup tie at home to Bolton Wanderers of all clubs.I hope that Birmingham City have the same attitude about the quarter final and then perhaps we could play West Ham reserves in the semi final.22 February 2011 at 1:25 pm #60229but there was a distinct lack of effort to change things by the brown shoed, waxwork mannequin stood on the touchline,
According to you, there never is, so why pick on this game?
Yet another throw away accusation by you that has no foundation – have a look through all my posts and find where I have ever suggested that he never made an effort to change things ????
By all means disagree with what I say, but at least offer some constructive alternative that is at least credible, if you’re trolling my posts like you do with James c looking for a reaction you are barking up the wrong tree I won’t bite to your childish, playground, cat calling responses.
Didn’t have you down as thick LMB, but isn’t “he never made an effort to change things”

23 February 2011 at 1:12 am #60260I didn’t know Zaki and Mido were still here.
LMB cannot accept that the players are in way to blame for poor performances. It is all the fault of Martinez, as is everything else.
I’ve heard the Egyptians are planning a protest for him to resign
