I don’t know where you sit, but our fans were fantastic, last night.
Indeed, I don’t know why you bother.
Why don’t you get a new hobby, or team to support? Why not build models of old wooden ships or something? Because you clearly don’t like going to Latics matches.
The one criticism that people can’t throw our way, is that our fans, the ones who get off their ars*s and actually go, have been getting behind the side.
Forget about the attendance. It seems that the bandwagoners and JCL’s have jumped ship. Good f*ckin riddance. I hope they don’t come back. Honestly. Heard some fella behind me saying “I’m not coming next season” Good, f*cking don’t. Be like the rest of the gobshytes in this town who would rather sit in a pub watching ‘Yoonited’, rather than support their home team.
In all honesty, I’d rather us have 10,000 ‘die-hard’ loyal fans on, rather than an extra 7,000 plastic, wannabe, JCL, dicks. Seriously. I just hope that the club actually REMEMBER who the loyal fans are, as opposed to the people who jump on the bandwagon when things are rosey.
well said vat i dont give a dam about attendences been going to latics since 86 and watched some real crap these jcl only want the good days supporting a team like wigan has its ups and downs, but jcl only want the good times one bad day and thats it.If we got to another cup final watch them all come out of the woodwork claiming to be no1 wigan fan tossers. :x
the last two home games the vocal support has been second to none,i agree with vat, attendences mean nothing win lose or draw im following wigan no matter what!!got some big games coming up so as delia wheres our 12th man
No wind up ! I sit in E5 and up until we scored apart from the drum there was not a whisper. I took a mate on for the first time and he commented on how quiet it was. It was quieter than St Andrews a couple of week ago and that is saying something ! There were hardly any chants from the so called singers and when they did manage to rustle something up it was swiftly drowned out by the away support. Singing about hating Mosques as they did in Birmingham and whispering ” Your just a small town in Birmingham ” to the Villa fans is pathetic anyway, so happen its just as well they keep quiet half the time ! I have missed one home game in 6 years so dont call my support. I might have only started coming on in the Championship but you cant fault my support with my attendance record. It was quiet last night and if you beg to differ then fair enough. You must have acute hearing or something whereas my hearing has gone west due to years of Marshall stack abuse from my gigging days !

The guy who said he ‘isn’t going’ next season, probably will, but I would rather he doesn’t, we dont need fans like that.
Agree 100% on the last paragraph, The die hard fans are what the club need, and I don’t care about attendances one bit, as long as I’m there that’s all that I care about (and the team of course ;) )
Dont mind the drum bunch making noise but can they PLEEEEEEAse stop crawling up our managers @rse by chanting his name when he has basically delivered f@ck all.
When he has led the team to safety by all means then chant his name by all means.

That’s a bit like saying everyone should be quiet until we score though, they’re trying to give him some support I think.

I was in ES2 last night and heard singing throughout the game, that might not reach all areas of the stadium but there are supporters in the Wigan stands SUPPORTING their team throughout and because they are the vocal one’s, if they want to sing Roberto’s name or anything else, what’s wrong with that ?
