Much is being said about Gomez, and everyone appears to vent their anger just towards him, but
lets face it, Gomez is not alone at not being good enough for the PL.
The maority of our team are Championship standard at best.
Below is a list of the players who in my opinion are, or can become good enough for the Premier League.
The rest are simply not good enough.N’Zogbia
Rodalegga
McCarthy
Alcaraz

You mean the same Ian Holloway who do feck all at Bristol Rovers, QPR, Plymouth and Leicester?
Horses for courses. Our ‘supporters’ would be booing Holloway within six months.

Gareth Bale has been running every other wing back / full back ragged this season.

Sephton, this just proves how clueless you really are.
Boyce and Gohouri are too very poor defenders with a lack of positioning and a tendency to get skinned. Gohouri in particular, Boyce used to be okay but he’s past his best.
Pollitt? Watson? Nicholls? McManaman? Are you mentally ill?
Pollitt used to be good but now NEVER plays, and Watson is just simply a bad player.
And how on earth can you say McManaman is good enough for the Premier League on the basis of TWO sub appearances? One being yesterday, the other being the final day of the ’09 season. You might have seen him for the reserves but you can’t judge his current Premier league ability off that. If he was Premier League standard he’d be in the first team, because he’d be better than di Santo and Boselli are currently.
Don’t even get me started on di Santo.
Finally, ‘Lopez, I just know’ How on earth can you ‘just know’ played against him on Fifa have you?

To be fair, one swallow doesn’t make a summer now does it ! He has been consistently poor since !!
