He was criticised on here for not having a plan b last season but he has shown this season so far that he clearly has.
He had to make a different plan A on Friday and we still looked like a good well organised team. We got through it and won the 3 points which frequently you need to do exactly that.
How about today’s tactics? From what I could gather, he took off Garner in the 68th min leaving us with no striker until the 88th min when out of pure desperation he brought Grigg ( Our best striker ) on ?
Shocking game today fil that no team deserved to win. Powell went up front until Grigg came on but garner is crap, offers nothing.
Ref was proper sh it e and neither were pens..

I’m from Leyland! I was just wondering why he took off a striker and played for 20 mins without a recognised striker! Bit negative in my book but hey I’m not the manager!
Bloody hell. The rugby get criticised for having fans from Preston, Leyland and Bolton, but seems like on here everyone is from Preston, Leyland,Chorley or St Helens!!!!

Don’t knock the out of town Latics fans; cos you’ll find them more loyal that your average Wigan Mon ! I was born in wrightington, then exiled to Croston then Lostock Hall; but have always followed the Latics ! Even when I lived in Larne, I flew home on alternate weekends to follow the Latics ! That’s loyalty !
