We are 6 points from 7th, 8 points cover 14 teams and we have had a bad game (granted it was at the hands of possibly the worst team in the league). I bet the Blackburn fans are also hitting the self destruct button as well as Liverpool and Everton hey!
On the plus side, the football day experience was excellent as usual. Got to London, had a few drinks with the mates, made our way to the ground had a crack in there. Watched our team play, but unfortunaely lose. Made our way back with lots of debating and a few more drinks.
I guess some people just look at results though and in that case the experience must be quite bad now we are in this league.
Anyway, we’re there again tomorrow night and yet again I think I will be having a good time, with the mates again having a few drinks and watching my team.
29 November 2010 at 4:17 pm #51960Did anyone else on here think we would get absolutely zilch from this game? West Ham were tagging this as a “Save Our Season” game for Christ’s sake and it’s only November!
Had Boselli put that penalty away West Ham would have panicked, defended the lead and we could quite easily have come away with a draw, at the very least.
Nevermind, things could be worse. We could have been a top 10 team losing to a second from bottom club or an established Premiership club losing heavily at home to a newly promoted club, tipped to be relegated.
It only November. Get a grip people.29 November 2010 at 4:28 pm #51961I just cant see us getting 6 points before christmas, lets see how bad it looks then.
I said after saturdays result to see how things went at west spam, and yes it went bad. When we lose the Zog we will be in real trouble.
29 November 2010 at 5:10 pm #51967Agree N’Zogbia on his day is a great player, but at West Ham he never beat his man once, passes where going astray and looked like a total lack of effort from my point of view.
We will miss him but much prefer someone who will work the line aswell as being good going forward.29 November 2010 at 6:09 pm #51974Agree N’Zogbia on his day is a great player, but at West Ham he never beat his man once, passes where going astray and looked like a total lack of effort from my point of view.

3rd servings yet Mart?
29 November 2010 at 6:50 pm #51975Glad you had a decent social day out of another insipid martinez disaster, but to state dont panic is plain daft, the other teams you mentioned around us will strengthen in january we will sell, and lets face it martinez as squandered a fortune on flops already so to give him anymore cash is just crazy just sack him and lets get some passion back into the club

30 November 2010 at 1:30 am #51999Well, yeah ;)
30 November 2010 at 1:32 am #52000I don’t think Martinez will eva admit defeat.
30 November 2010 at 1:45 am #52002He’s tasted it often enough.
30 November 2010 at 1:50 am #52004I can’t say I’m too confident there won’t be another defeat on Saturday Martin.
A nice win in the Cup tomorrow might just be the boost we need.
Anyway, I thought you were a retired CL member.
