Anybody know the best place to park at the S.O.L? I was thinking of using the park and ride scheme but was wondering whether there are any better parking spots.Problem is I’ve got our Maud with me and she doesn’t like walking too far.
There are loads of car parks around the ground if you get there early enough, don’t know how much they charge though.
There is quite a bit of street parking near an Industrial estate as well, though it does look rough round there.
Get the coach, much easier and cheaper if there is just the two of you.

Thanks for that but we’re stopping over in Newcastle on Saturday night so the coach isn’t an option.
Leave the car at the hotel and get the bus/train, you’ll be able to drink the day away

We parked on the retail park carpark last time ! Got out walked into McDonalds to throw em off the scent and then onto the footy !! As long as you go in at least one outlet then you have your loophole !! 8-)
The Metro runs right past the ground with a choice of two stops. Catch it from Newcastle (20 mins away) and save yourself the hassle of trying to drive amongst 35-40,000 people all trying to get away from the same place at the same time.
