If anyone didn’t know already, the team will be departing from north western station tomorrow at 1.30 pm, and fans are advised to get there from 12.30 onwards to wish the lads well.

Just had a flick through a warriors form.
They were discussing how our relegation would effect them as a rugby club.
While they seem confident there would be no rent increase as they pay a fixed percentage of their gate receipts to use the stadium one of them made a cracking point in that if we get relegated they can forget about having the pitch relaid every year!
Seems to be a 50/50 split of those that wish us well in our endeavours and those that don’t.
What struck me reading some of the comments is that at least we play in a league where you can get relegated on merit. If we follow the ‘super’league model we’d be nowhere near the top division.
They are totally deluded as I have said before after 130 years of a sport you would of thought it would of took off and gone global
non entity village game, thats dying an embarrassing, cringe worthy death……..way over a century of an association and still no recognized team in the 2nd biggest city in the country……..they try and keep that one quiet tha’ knows bert
can’t wait for today and tomorrow watching them squirm with envy/jealousy….even if, as expected, we lose, it will still be the biggest stage that our town has ever been represented on……RL can’t get anywhere close to it and never will in their village game
