Does anyone know the reason why he only served a one match ban (Liverpool) for his sending off. I have always understood the rules that two yellows was a 1 match ban and a straight red 3 matches.
Does anyone know the reason why he only served a one match ban (Liverpool) for his sending off. I have always understood the rules that two yellows was a 1 match ban and a straight red 3 matches.Appeal?
It’s only 3 games if it’s for violent conduct (possibly if 2nd or 3rd red of the season too). Straight red for a professional foul is 1 game.
