What a petty attitude. No matter what has happened over the season Burn has never shirked his responsibilities. He most definitely deserves recognition for maintaining his standards among all the dross.
When you are relegated, I think it would be sensible not to have a player of the year.

Dan Burn surely will win that accolade, with Buxton a distant 2nd.
I honestly couldn’t pick anyone else who would even get one vote this season.
Perhaps Gilks deserves a mention for a few decent saves over the last week or two.Pffff……the lot of them should be embarrassed.
Give it to Barrow for being hard faced,that bloke was like ‘Phil Neal yes boss no boss’ under Joyce then has the audacity to take over when Joyce gets the push.
Barrow employee of the year gets my vote.
