Its been commented on and you can clearly see on the rare occasion that we score, that the team go over to the bench and celebrate, and players have commented in the press erc that they are all playing for the manager.. but what does that mean exactly ? Is it because rather than giving them a bollocking or home truths,he just pats them on the back and says “never mind, this is an unforgiving league” or some other twaddle, hence they dont see any repercussions of playing shite at times? Seems that Cook is “One of the lads”, maybe its about time he started acting like a manager and reminded one or two.. or three or four, that their week in week out performances are simply not acceptable and drop them to the reserves…
Or, they could do it to show how much they care and understand the pressure that’s on their manager.
To assume that Cook doesn’t give them a bollocking when needed is unfounded. To be a football manager at any level you need to have a mean streak, there are tough decisions to make every day.

Any win at this stage of the game is a good win. We’ve played far better of late and got nothing so to play under par and a bit of luck for 2 of the 3 goals I’ll take all day.
My only fear is, what happens when Moore’s back fit ?, I just hope it’s not back to the “long ball to the big lad” tactics
We have to play the same way and if that means that Moore is used as a sub that we throw on when we need to go direct if we behind last 10 then so be it.

Battled hard throughout the 95 minutes and also managed to see the game out resulting in avoiding the last minutes cock ups seen previously.

Of the starting eleven on Saturday the only ones that could possibly be the slightest bit knackered and ready for resting are Robinson, Morsy and Lowe and in Lowe’s case he just needs dropping. The rest have had plenty rests through injury and swapping and changing.I think he has rotated jakobs and massey and brought back in joe but yes apart from that its been a settled side
We’ve played the same team for the last 5 games haven’t we?Surely playing five games of football as a pro can not wipe players out to warrant resting apart from the ones I mentioned the others should be chomping at the bit to start and continue working and playing together to improve unless Cook has got a little trip away to the sun on the piss planned.
