had the usual attendance argument at work so i set out to prove in theory we are quite well supported..
here are the results now they wont be 100% bang on as i have averaged out 3 differnet cencus results and also tried to add non prem teams within the vicinity of the teams…team population average attendace pecentage

Wigan’s population is misleading because the borough stretches from t’other end of Standish (almost Wiganers) to the far reaches of Astley (definitely not Wiganers) including another full blown town, Leigh, that hates Wigan with a vengeance.
I heard that the actual town of Wigan, rather than the borough, is around 90,000. How it’s arrived at I don’t know but if it is the case, we have a far higher percentage. Trying to explain this particular theory of relativity to the muppets that are always having a pop about our crowds is easier said than done.
i agree with that figure (90,000)ish….burnley is of similar size i think
population percentages my a*s* our attendances are piss poor for a prem club if whelan had kept the price low after our first season in the prem instead he took the route of sod em all i will fleece em all style of management and whacked the prices up,also martinez and his low scoring brand of football will keep people away.

As I asked Rodbomb earlier If he was James C I do feel compelled to ask you are you Griff? . Rodbombs answer was unsatisfactory in my eyes as he said he had heard that he went to live in Tenerife but we all know he came back again and was seeing some bird from Reading who he had met over there. I know this because he rammed it down anybody who would listen’s throat’s on here. It was made out by him that he and said Girlfriend was the best couple since Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. Probably split up long ago since then and it was a wet behind the ears 20 year old lad’s silliness just coming out.I ask this because this was asked the other week by another poster and the only reason why anybody’s karma rating on here would go back up is if they bumped it back up with one of their other incarnations on here. We all know John as a Multi on here and it’s tediously boring and deeply unfunny!
