No he will be at home because his partner has either just given birth or about to give birth. Well that’s how I read the post. Good luck to you and your Peg and I hope everything goes well for you all.

Precisely.
Talk about misreading!
So, his missus is pregnant and due…so he doesn’t go the match? Why not?

I was in the same boat back in 2006, April 2006, and I still went to a game. Each to their own, I spose.
How lucky is your Mrs.

“Was that a contraction love? Hold it in will ya I’m off the game!”

Eggs a rugby fan, why would he not watch the cup final one way or another?

He is a football fan and a rugby fan. If the same situation was to happen with baby No2 and Latics were at Wembley and the clodders were at home, he would do exactly the same and watch the Wembley Final on tele as being a husband and father to be, is far more important.

If there was no ‘ little’un on the way I’m sure he would be at Wembley with the rest of his family and friends as he would if it was the other way round and the Latics were at Wembley.

Give the lad a break, he is one of the few Rugby lads that volley other rugby men all over the place if they have a go at the Latics. He is as much a Tic as an egg.

Good luck with everything mate, I hope all goes well.

PS I still hate the Peanut Clodders and want Hull to win.

I let you sit in front of me for years until you moved stands, what more could I do to accommodate a cuckoo.
I even spoke to you on occasions about the error of your ways watching the fatties.

Seriously, your a good lad apart from your affliction, but we all have our crosses to bare.

I bet your Dad is getting excited, and I don’t mean for the Wembley trip. He was cock a hoop about the wedding, I bet he is beside himself over the imminent arrival.
Being a Granddad now myself, I know how he will be feeling, its unbelievable.

Good luck, and be sure to bring the little ‘un in the West Stand so we can give him/her a lesson on who to and not to support, me and Alistair won’t be biased, honestly.
