from tonight’s match.
No more posts demanding Waghorn starts a game.
Or am I being too optimistic?
15 April 2015 at 10:42 am #141274Three ordeals left for the ever suffering Latics faithfull and now we are virtually down even with three wins it is time to see some of the youngsters. Waghorn has never been the answer but after seeing the performances of MAF its only a natural thing for the fans to demand something different. The obvious one hasn’t been used Waghorn at the side of MAF. I myself was surprised when we signed Waghorn last season because he hadn’t looked that special.
After last nights suicidal display he should be out devoting with the groundstaff at half time. Or out making a public apology on the P.A system.15 April 2015 at 11:55 am #141275I read some of the pre match interviews from Pearce and Waghorn and Caldwell and the way they spoke you would have thought we were going to the Wembley arena for WWE chairs and ladders match up not to play football.
I’m sure the Millwall manager picked up on the aggressive talk and used it to their advantage. Well at least all the bullshit talk about staying up can be put to bed and those players who have made this happen leave the club.
I’m still baffled how Fortune got so many starts with such a poor goal scoring when we had one of Liverpools brighest prospects (Sinclair) on loan and he never even made the bench unless he’s injured. With 9 players out of contract at the end of the season, loaness to go back and the likes of McClean to be sold lets hope lessons have been learned. I can see it taking 2-3 seasons in Div1 before we get the whole mess sorted.

We are heading back to where we belong, simple really!
15 April 2015 at 12:18 pm #141278What can we expect from selling McClean 50p and a jar of Uncle Joes?
3rd tier may be his level.
Strange some say we are back where we belong. I would say we are in the hands of our multi millionaire owner and back wherever he decides he wants us to be are can be arsed for us to be.15 April 2015 at 12:27 pm #141280Less queues for the toilets at half time.
Going to a game expecting to win.
Less queues leaving the ground at full time.
Fortune may get a few goals.
Visiting places you’ve never been.
Less midweek games as you’ll play on international weekends.
Saturday 3pm kick-offs pretty much guaranteed.
Less trips to London for away games.
Not having Bolton as your rivals.
Still get a Weekender in Blackpool.
The probability of your cup win getting mentioned when the draw for the 1st round of the cup is made.
The possibility of it being televised if you are drawn away to a minnow.15 April 2015 at 12:39 pm #141282Nowt wrong with most of them. Fortune however will be joining Gomez at Makemland on a three year contract.Thank goodness.
