if he does leave was he really anything special to write home about,

He’s been played out of position here but has still made a great impression.

No it doesn’t. Premier league clubs can only loan 2 players from other premier league clubs. They already have Danny Graham and Jake Livermore on loan and Bruce is keen to retain both. So unless this situation changes he won’t be going to Hull.
Bruce may sign Graham or Livermore on a permanent contract, leaving room for Powell.
Hull certainly look a better proposition now than they did a month ago.
Just been told he has said his goodbye’s to his Latics team mates and cleared his locker out at CP. :(
One of just a few positives to come out of OC’s reign. H’s going to be a top notch player and for me head and shoulders above Tom Cleverly, having seen both at close range playing for the tics.

What a journey!Powell has been a god send for us and without him we could quite possibly be in the relegation zone? He will probably look 10 times the player he is now if he goes to a prem club with better players around him.
If he adds passing to his game he will be some player in the future ,not sure Dull tigers is the place for him though .
Bruce has built a Hull team who should be good enough to stay up this season. They play attractive football, with three at the back, and put six past Fulham at the weekend. Powell should gain further experience there.
