Wigan have given Powell a regular first team place. But if Moyes is looking for an opportunity for him to get experience at a higher level, then Hull must look an attractive option.

They even play three at the back as we do at present, so Powell could quickly fit in. On the other hand, Huddlestone has really emerged this season, and his role is similar to Powell’s. There might not be room for both of them in the team.

I also pick up on people who claim to be in the “ITK” but post absolute bollocks and believe it to be the truth. So, if you’re going to post shit that subsequently proves to be shit then, as the messenger, expect to be shot. ;)

I have a couple of fairly decent sources associated with club but they are, quite rightly, extremely discreet at all times. That’s why when I hear someone brag that they have “it on good authority” I am confident that 95% of the time it’s complete fabrication.

Anything I am told, by the way, I wouldn’t dream of sharing on this forum.
