I would only add that after 10 minutes up against it and several consecutive corners for the opposition it was our chance to put some pressure on their defence, that Powers mindset was so worryingly defensive, equally worrying was Joyce taking off grigg, rather than utilising 2 strikers also defensive. The quality of our passing, corners and free kicks was poor what the hell do they do in training sessions.

Bogle made a fair few of the 30 goals Pádraig Amond scored for Grimsby in only 40 starts. So how the fook does Joyce know if won’t work until he tries it ??. Friday was the ideal time 0-1.
Good managers adapt in Joyce we have the new Martinez “It’s my way or the highway”.

Grigg up front with no width and a midfield full of grafters isn’t working. Please tell me who is going to put the ball on a plate for Grigg (which he requires). Sorry Joyce but belt and braces football will send us down, it’s goals that keeps you up.
