Southport, Notts County, Hartlepool and Grimsby all away.
F**kin ell! I wont be going Grimsby, I’ve seen the movie.
Seem like good friendlies these, no glory ones just the level we’ll be playing at next season.
Only ground I’ve not been to is Southport so got to make that one this time.Will definitely be at Southport. Wonder if we have a manager by then?Home game for me, must admit I was hoping for a visit to AFC Fylde but Haig Avenue will have to suffice.
I went to Haigh Avenue a few years back on New Year’s day to watch Southport and Fleetwood in a top of the table clash, Fleetwood battered them 6-0 if I remember correctly and a certain Jamie Vardy was playing for Fleetwood ! ( bagged a brace ) It was the season that Fleetwood won promotion into the football league proper!
A host of friendlies all away at traditional football grounds rather than soulless bowls we now have.
