But it is almost certain that the club have made arrangements for pre season – the going abroad bit, there was some mention of Spain
Has anyone heard owt
Many thanks
26 April 2010 at 1:34 pm #30815Werent we meant to be playing Olimpia – that Honduran club we’ve got all the players from – in Washington on 30th July.
I’ve heard we’re off to Austria as usual for a training camp too.

Good a trip to the North East pre season Arky get a coach sorted
26 April 2010 at 2:05 pm #30819Roberto took Swansea to Sweden, one summer.
More importantly, can we not for once get a prestigeous home friendly? No, not the likes of St Mirren, but someone like Ajax Amsterdam, Athletic Bilbao, Borussia Dortmund, or somebody like that.
Or maybe Glasgow Rangers. Be nice to see Lee McCulloch again, and they’d bring loads.
26 April 2010 at 3:51 pm #30831Should try to get a big team like one of the Milan’s.. At home OR away…Wouldn’t mind a trip to Italy myself.
26 April 2010 at 3:53 pm #30832I hope we play St. Mirren, apparently you can predict the rest of the season if you play them.

I know…remember them playing there myself..That’s main reason I thought it possible. Would be a good one too…but would prefer it to be at San siro as I haven’t been there and would like a reason to go on a trip to Italy.

I wanna see it! Been to a few nice grounds… Sporting lisbon(Not sure about nice but ya know) … Nou camp etc… But really wanna see the san siro!
27 April 2010 at 4:12 am #30921From a purely selfish viewpoint Australia would be good, and more specifically Perth would be better ! Fulham and Wolves managed it last year so why not us ? Although ME Bank Stadium isn’t quite in the league of the San Siro……….
The Ashes and The Latics in one year. My sporting re-education of the Colonials would be almost complete (they still call the league table “The EPL Ladder”……..).
