To say Latics need a scenario akin to ‘Roy of the Rovers’over the last two games to avoid relegation is the understatement of the century.
i personally am not expecting anything tomorrow , a win and they might take it to the last day but i think its done now regardless.
Any other thoughts ?I will be going tomorrow I always go the last away regardless. To be honest I think we might scrape a draw but in my head were down regardless. There’s miracles and there’s miracles but we’d need more than that to stop up, this is a bridge too far.
I was abit taken back by Maloney’s recent remarks in the local press regarding Magennis, singing his praises from the roof tops but all the while he’d been left on the bench.
Since Magennis started we’ve won 2 out of 2. Who knows, had he of started a few more in the past 6-8 weeks we might have nicked a point from the 1-0 losses we suffered or a even nicked a win from the recent 1-1’s.All abit late for me. Maloney had his chances to change things up weeks back but his stubbornness to stick with the same as nothing in hope it comes good never materialised.
In our last 10 games there’s only been 2 games Swansea Burnley were we’ve drawn or been beaten by 1 goal it’s been that close.So for the Reading game, I just pray we go out with a bang and the players don’t let the fans down. It’s a long way to go knowing your probably going down so its the least the players can do for us, just give it their all.
But,
If we get wacked by a hefty score can I have my ticket money back please ? If Spurs can we canI hope to God we win our next two games and stay up the Bahraini cowboys would maybe have a better chance of selling a championship club than a League 1 club.
That said I don’t see the point of staying up because these frauds we have for owners can’t afford it, I reckon Maloney is trying to appease the fans by getting us to think we aren’t going down without a fight.
Shit show of a season the sooner these owners fuck off the better, someone like Kuokash would do but easier said than done.

2-0 win but still going down. Warnock’s got Cardiff and Sheffield United next – two clubs where he is an absolute legend. There’s no chance he’ll come away from those games with no points.
Too little too late but would have been less painful had the relegation been confirmed away from the pitch.
A fairly decent performance again but a shockingly dreadful mistake for their goal and no point harping on about the major faults in this Latics team now we all know.
It was too big an ask even if the team had won the three points yesterday , I reckon the relegation would still have arrived before the final day.
That said if we hadn’t had the deduction we’d now be sat on 44 points and in with a slim chance of survival so only one place to point the finger of blame and it isn’t towards the pitch.Well the owners got exactly what they wanted, relegation. I’m not sure why other than to lower the wage bill then sell make us more sellable.
Like I previously said, if they 100% knew (which they did) the money from liquidating assets was coming then why didn’t they take out a short term bridging loan to pay the wages.
Without the deduction we’d be going into the Rotherham match still in the game. I’m not putting all the blame at the owners doorstep but they must shoulder a huge chunk of this relegation mess.Little investment in the summer,

To say they got it wrong is an huge understatement. Little money and the lack of goals has sent us down.
As for season ticket ? I’ve decided not to renew the first time since the mid 80’s.Totally agree with CW….particularly the Fletcher point. Relegation finally achieved in an absolute F### UP season. Sorry for repeating it but we know the incompetent ones gave reason why the 4th wage was missed culminating in 3pt deducted. Did they explain why they F###### up the 3 prior apart from crock of shit “administration issues”. Do they think we are all retarded, and should just accept and bollocks reasons they give ?They deal with international business daily so admin issues doesn’t stack up for me. No investment, manager merry-go-round, late wages,pts deducted and finally the drop. Boy !,they certainly had to pull every trick to get us in league 1 !!! Managed it though. I have zero faith in the owners but unless a Koukash steps forward then our clubs survival is in their sweaty palms. As for season ticket renewals then I’m undecided…….and I fully understand why some have decided against……can’t trust the owner .
