1 nil Bury. A struggle in the league and with changes Bury will edge it. Hope not but its up to Gary. Defo would play Grigg on tomorrow and Tuesday as we won’t have him yet again at Dale.
I would imagine Davies will start and personally I’d start him Grigg, Jacobs and Wildschutt after their poorer than standard performances last week.
Goalkeeper and midfield is where I’d make changes if I’d make any at all.
Why not go with another 2-2, crowd depends on how many Bury will pay £18.
Don’t change anything at all Saturday and Tuesday. Keep a winning formula together. Still gelling and need consistency not disruption. Get enough disruption with injuries and internationals. Plus we need the cup runs for income. If we send players out on loan because we can’t afford their wages then we should be pushing for the big one in the third round or a trip to Wembley. If any changes are made then let it just be Davies in alongside Grigg with Wildschut on the wing.
I’d give some ‘fringe’ players a run if we can.
Maybe let Cowie start instead of Perkins, bring back Pearce if he’s fit, give Kellett a run. Maybe start Davies instead of Grigg and let him play with Wildschut and Jacobs before the Rochdale game.
Yes a good cup run will help, but this is a chance to make sure that if we do have injuries/suspensions etc that players can slot in with no disruption.
