Anyone thinking it will be cheaper to watch the football in the championship had better have a look at this years prices in this table
17 May 2013 at 2:25 am #113691It won’t be massively cheaper, but there will definitely be less or none of those £40+ like United, Liverpool, Chelsea (Even West Ham was £39). And there will be a lot more local games in Lancashire and Yorkshire, cutting down on travel costs.
17 May 2013 at 2:31 am #113693True a lot more local matches in traveling distance
17 May 2013 at 9:45 am #113702Aye.
It’ll be almost like the M62 pit village souperdouperleague fixtures, so more away fans should be able to travel, as all the excuses for not travelling no longer exist.
Doncaster Belles away on a Tuesday night in December should be a must.
17 May 2013 at 10:32 am #113704You are a sad excuse for a human being and a terrible waste of our finite resources.
17 May 2013 at 12:02 pm #113712Anyone who names themselves after their dog is lacking somewhere…Anyway back to answering normal humans.
I think it would be a cracking idea for the club to keep the season ticket prices the same but include the 3 Europa group matches in the cost of the season ticket, this ensuring a few on when we play these matches, which are notoriously poorly supported and sometimes on at 5 or 6pm.
I remember when Sunderland played in Europe and……oh no hold on a minute I wasn’t born when that particular yoyo club did that………? :P
17 May 2013 at 12:07 pm #113715Great idea tez h
17 May 2013 at 12:11 pm #113716Couldn’t help but notice the bit at the top saying Kidderminster fans pay the most for a pie at £4. Hope they’re f*cking good pies in Kidderminster!!!!

17 May 2013 at 12:37 pm #113718It would be a brilliant idea to include EL in season tickets, or offer packages with season tickets that discount the tickets.
However, it makes too much sense for the club to do it.

Almost, but not quite. It’ll still have many non manufactured teams from outside the region, a promotion and relegation system, a worthwhile reward for the team that amasses the most number of points, a genuine media and public interest throughout the UK, and most importantly – investment.
But apart from that, yes, just like it.

Maybe we could offer a cheap three European games offer – Celtic did similar. If people have a ticket for all three games (something like £30 for the three) then they will be tempted to come to the tie against the team from Belarus as well, when really all they want to see is the game against Atletico Madrid.
18 May 2013 at 7:22 pm #113817Perhaps they could offer cheap tickets for the European games plus free quiche lorraine and a glass of wine.

;)
22 May 2013 at 7:44 pm #114268I am really getting in the mood for next season, some mouth watering reunions and a league we should be able to compete in.
As it won’t be on in the pub we should get more travelling fans as well and possibly some on the DW as well.
19th June fixtures, 3rd August start I genuinely can’t wait now.
