      bolton keeper today sent off,can they recall habsi ?

      I think the loans have to be for a fixed period these days, usually the whole season.

      That said, the rules might be slightly different for keepers.

      In short, I don’t know :)

      Any “long term” loan (over 90 days in length) and the two clubs have to both agree to terminate the loan deal.

        With Kirkland (hopefully) sidelined for a while with some injury or other (what’s new :roll: ), allowing Al-Habsi to return would leave us with just the one ‘keeper, so I can’t see us agreeing to it.

        We should just buy him outright, seeing Kirkland on the team sheet these days gives me a relapse of the Stoijkovic syndrome I was getting last year…

        No they can’t. A temporary transfer is for a fee and a set period:

        “subject to any conditions imposed by the Board in the exercise of its discretion under Rule M.4.2, the minimum period of a Temporary Transfer shall be the period between 2 consecutive Transfer Windows and the period of a Temporary Transfer shall not extend beyond 30th June next after it was entered into;…”
