Does anyone actually shout at RM to sort it out when he is just standing there with his arms folded showing no emotion whatsoever when his team is getting ripped apart by the 1-3 favs to go down ! The man shows no fire and passion whatsoever when he is on the touchline so he might as well just be sat in the dugout doing a crossword or something !
From my experience (in the South from Championship – PL Season 2 and then the East since), the West only get active when the referee(s) make a speculative decision. They never start the chanting going and, if anything, they kill it dead once it reaches them.
So if your season ticket is in the West, please prove me wrong, because that’s my lasting impression of you!

Perhaps its because we are all middle aged, beer bellied life long followers of Latics in the main.
We’ve been there, done it and got the black eyes and missing teeth to prove it. We’ll leave it up to you young whipper snappers in the east to start things off if you don’t mind and we will join in if we remember to bring our inhalers to the match.Sorry must go my horlicks is bubbling over the pan. :geek:
PS I nearly bust a blood vessel in mi neck saturday shouting at bobby to get the lazy barstewatrd figs off. As you may well appreciate, bobby didn’t even acknowledge me. :roll:

What we’ll do next week is run some string and cans between East and Springfield stands so that we all can keep in touch with each other…..
……..according to every tom, richard and f£ckin harriet that will be about a dozen cans needed – GIVE ME F£CKIN STRENGTH – as JR subtly puts it – we were there when we were sh !t. We’ve paid our dues over the years (and I know you’re 47….a couple of years younger than me by the way) and know how to deal and react to the players, manager and the establishment – the benefit of maturity tells us different to the ‘know nothing’ retard trolls that infest this board – one clown asked how to have his account deleted (joined a year ago with a massive input of 25 posts…..I’m surprised Griff was as gentle as he was with the response).
As a ‘Springfield’ Stander I stand by how I support my team. I have my own views and opinions as to how the current manager is doing his job but at the moment I keep them to myself and a few close friends – all….I believe…is not yet known to us.
You, me both are too long in the tooth for this – we’ve been there and done it.
I’ll be there again, standing (cough), in’t Springfield stand against Chelski – I forgive them like I do my kids (angry for a day then back to normal – life is f£ckin too short).

West, east, south… we are the worst fans in the world by a country mile and it’s about time we started to acknowledge it.
Do what I do… Have a few beers, get to the ground around lick off time, sit still and take your disappointment like a man then go home and forget about it until the next time
